1) I'm not sure ...
If you are not sure about this, try it and find out. The best way to do this is to get a free email account (hotmail and yahoo are the most popular). Join one of the services on this site (email-pays-u is easiest). Use your new email account ONLY for this purpose!! If you run into problems, cancel the account.
2) What about SPAM?
The companies involved in PTRs make their money by sending you emails. They could not sell your email address for as much as they make by sending you email. It does not make sense for them to sell your email address.
Most of the companies have privacy policies on their site which include anti-spamming policies. If you are interested in these policies, visit their web site.
3) How do I get Paid?
You must contact the Paid to read companies that you sign up with to get paid. They all have complete instructions on how and when they will pay.
Most of these sites use PayPal or E-Gold accounts, so you might want to get one.
4) What's in it for you?
This site is listed as the second level referrer on the PTR sites. This site gets paid by the PTRs, usually about half of what the first level referrers (charities) get paid.
5) How much do the Charities pay for this?
This is FREE for the charities.
The charities do not pay us ANYTHING. This site, and the charities, get paid by the PTRs. They pay us in ADDITION to paying the subscribers.
This site gets absolutely no money from the charities, or subscribers.
6) How much does it cost to subscribe?
All of the PTRs on this site are Free. There are many PTRs out there that are not free, but only free PTRs are on this site.
7) How reliable are these sites?
The only sites listed here are sites that have paid people, or have been active for an extended period of time. On the page describing the individual PTR, we have listed additional information about each provider, including if Clicks for Charities has been paid.
There will also be a list of sites that fail to pay on the NEWS page of this website.
8) Will I get rich doing this?
No. You will NOT get rich doing this.
If you read 5 emails a day, even at 10 cents each, you would only be making 50 cents a day. If you did that every day for a month, you would only have $15.00.
The idea behind this web site is to get LOTS of people to read emails.
